About the Book
The encounters with people in NYC - in their everyday life, - in their lives, in THIS city, are striking and complex in shades of gray or colorful and exciting. But this is not the only issue in the "People" cycle. Until now, the city pictures of the photographer Alexander Kolibius were marked by people-empty cities with clear forms, reflections and with lights through, partly abstracted and often by loose-humorous accents loosened - then becomes the discarded piece of paper to the bird or the shadow of a stone To the head. As a silent observer of interpersonal interactions Kolibius now tells stories in his new works: As in a picture book one can read in it. These stories tell you about the pictures and you can read the lines between the pictures.
