My art practice is currently concerned with the physicalities of mental state and psychological disorder. Mostly focusing on self experience, but also exploring how to provoke this in others.

Increased heart rate, heavy chest, tension headaches, dizziness, shaking, shortness of breath, insomnia, hot flashes; are all physical symptoms of an anxiety disorder. I have had this since I was young, and it’s what I use to inform my work.

I try to create an atmosphere of tension and apprehension using sculptural installation, video and performance. Mostly focusing on using my own body along with different materials to convey the symptoms I have described.
