Encounters is an imagined world made of both natural materials and computer generated images. Pratt begins by molding paper over wire armatures to create sculptural reliefs. She starts intuitively with no plan, but as they develop they become creature-like, whimsical forms. As she connects them with grasses and vines, they float across the wall, creating shadows and movement. Chance encounters of imaginary beings.
