A spunky little grizzly, Artan, enjoys a long summer's day in Lake Clark National Park, Alaska. He tries clamming, dreams of growing up and catching salmon, enjoys a tasty fish, faces danger, runs from a big bear with his sister, and reunites with Mom.
The photos are real and so is the story, pretty much.

Lors d'une longue journée d'été à Lake Clark en Alaska, il essaie de ramasser des coquillages, rêve de devenir grand et d'attraper des saumons, avale un délicieux poisson, échappe aux dangers, est pourchassé avec sa sœur par un énorme ours et retrouve enfin sa maman.
