inkBoat is a physical theatre and dance company founded by Shinichi Iova-Koga in 1998. The company, winner of 5 “Izzie” awards, has performed throughout North America, Europe and Japan in theaters and site-specific locations. Themes and subjects arise from meticulous examination of everyday life, with primary content arising from the body, resulting in both refined and raw expressions. Dancers’ Group is a dance service and presenting organization of the San Francisco Bay Area, home to one of the largest and most diverse dance communities in the US. Dancers’ Group serves San Francisco Bay Area artists, the dance community and audiences through programs and services that are as collaborative and innovative as the creative process itself.
