Lee Peterson is an internationally acclaimed photographer whose career has spanned 50 years and included assignments in over 15 countries. He has photographed stories for Life, Time, Skindiver, Diving, Discover Diving, Surfer, Funday, and Nature.He has been at various times in his career a contract photographer for Discover Diving, a staff photographer at Funday, and currently, an ongoing 20 year contributor to Anthis in Japan and Gates Underwater. Lee has been listed as one of the 100 Most Important people in Photography and described by Steve Lu as "perhaps the most versatile photophotographer working today". He has also been honored numerous times by Communication Arts, PDN, Graphis, American Photo, Mondo Submerso, San Diego Underwater Photographic Society, APA and ASMP. His fine art work has been represented several times in the Oceanside Museum of Art in Oceanside California, his 20 years of documentation of Glenbrook Nevada has been the focus of several private gallery exhibition
