After a successful career as a magazine journalist (TV Guide, People), Mike Lipton is now devoting full time to a new career as a painter of watercolors and acrylics and to digital photography, working out of his home studio on New Jersey's Long Beach Island. His paintings and photographs have been exhibited in regional venues ranging from Cape May to Mt. Holly, Tuckerton, Loveladies and Surf City (where he regularly exhibits at the How Ya Brewin' Internet cafe), and he has been the subject of articles in The Press of Atlantic City and the Beach Haven Times. A member of the Cape May Art Society, he also serves on the board of the Pine Shores Art Association, as publicity chairman. Mike is now at work on his second Blurb book, a photo essay on the Jersey Shore.
