If you have read my book “Big Cats of Southern Africa” you will have seen that I have a passion for these wonderful animals. Stimulated by the BBC Programme “Big Cat Diary” where cheetahs are regularly featured we decided to visit the area where the programme is filmed. This book is a diary and describes and illustrates our week in the Masai Mara, where we were able to find and enjoy these wonderful animals and many more. Particularly enjoyable was seeing the beautiful Serval cat for the first time on any of the many safaris I have been on. I hope that previewing this book and seeing the photographs of these wonderful animals in the wild will be an interesting and enjoyable experience.
