When Looking at the ocean most people view the ocean from the beach or by boat. Many people have never been underwater discovering the underworld of this great mass of water. The same goes with the sunflowers' world. Many don't take the time to walk into the fields and really discover their world. The sunflower is not just like every other sunflower. Just like people they have personalities and a uniqueness about them. Butterflies, grasshoppers, bees, and many others depend on them and live in their world. We depend on them for food and their oil. When I am photographing sunflowers I really try and explore their world and their surroundings. When viewing these images I hope you try and take the time look at the beauty, characteristics and friends that visit the sunflowers' world. Enjoy, Don
