    About the Book

    Edit

I belong to a fabulous women’s group at my church, St. John’s Episcopal in Concordville, Pennsylvania. One night we were
discussing the idea of going through life in a rote fashion.
We specifically discussed the drive to and from work. I love my
car. . . my mini cooper. I love driving stick shift. I often drive and see beautiful views and thought what beautiful pictures they would make. After this particular evening with my ladies, I decided to start a project. . . #viewsfromthemini. I leave a little earlier to drive to work and I keep my eyes completely open to all things possible, all things beautiful. I pull the mini cooper over, roll down the
window, and take a picture with my phone. I notice the sun
coming up through a grove of trees. I notice the sun lasting a
little longer on a January evening at five o’clock on my way home. I notice the fog rolling over the hills. It makes my travel more
deliberate. It gives me a sense of gratitude. This book is my
journey. Take a moment to see the beauty that I see and
    contemplate gratitude.
