Snowflakes photographed over two winters in a backyard in Chicago in all types of weather conditions. This book has over 200 snowflakes on 48 pages plus inside/outside covers. The snowflakes are all shapes and sizes. The author/photographer loves Winter & Snow. What started out as "Can I photograph a snowflake?" has turned into a mild obsession with watching weather forecasts and praying to the snow gods. She has also been given the name "SnowEmpress" because of her love of all things snow. Her wish is one day to visit the snowflake museum in Jericho, Vermont.
