Love Letters From Silvers Hardware is a small slice of life in the history of Bernard and Lillian Silver. All the letters were written over a three month period in late 1938. The letters were found in a shoe box all in their Silvers Hardware Envelopes. My father emerges in these letters as a man I never knew. A man who was articulate, passionate and vulnerable. I hope all who read these letters will see their wonderful prose.
