Robert Canis is a professional nature photographer, workshop and tour leader living in southeast England. Robert considers himself to be very much a stay-at-home nature
photographer repeatedly visiting the same locations and spending extended periods photographing his subjects since he feels that only by doing so can you really get under the skin of a place or species and reveal it in all its forms. Although photographing his ‘local patch’ is certainly his first love, over the last 15 years he has had a growing fascination with northern and eastern Europe, in particular, Finland.
