About the Book
SH Foulkes was the originator of Group Analysis as a form of psychotherapy. Much of his working life was spent in London, living in 7 Linnell Close, a large semi-detached house in Hampstead Garden Suburb. As well as being his home, the house was the site of many important meetings in the history of Group Analysis including the early 'monday night study group of 7 Linnell Close'. The book presents photographs of the house and many leading members of the group analytic movement. These were taken in 1980, four years after Foulkes' death and shortly before the house was sold by his widow. Pictures show parts of the house during the day time and at a party hosted by his widow to say goodbye to the house.
