A spectre is haunting Europe — the spectre of collagism. All the powers of old Europe have entered into a holy alliance to exorcise this spectre: Pope and Tsar Putin, Merkel and Hollande, Albanian pop singers and Facebook police-spies. Where is the arty farty in opposition that has not been decried as velvetic by its opponents in power? Where is the opposition that has not hurled back the branding reproach of collagism, against the more advanced opposition arty fartists, as well as against its reactionary adversaries? One thing results from this fact:

I. Collagism is already acknowledged by all European powers to be itself a power.

To this end, Collage Velvetists of double nationalities have assembled in the Free Republic of Croydonia and cut & pasted the following manifesto, to be published in the Londonian language, for a start.
