    About the Book

    Edit

This book is a photographic history of Afghanistan after the fall of the Taliban in 2002. The authors were sent to Kabul in order to start an International School per the request of the U.S. State Department and Quality Schools International. The authors had unlimited access to all areas of Afghanistan, and took many photos of the destruction to the country that came about as a result of the Civil War that was fought between 1994 and 2001. Besides documenting their efforts at starting a new International school; and documenting war damage throughout the country, the authors also explore the modern history of Afghanistan and make predictions concerning the possible conflict that may arise in the future between Pakistan and Afghanistan over the Durand Line Treaty. The treaty itself is analyzed as well as other historical documents that give this work real meaning; especially in light of on-going hostilities in Afghanistan.
