The poems and paintings in this book reflect the different phases of my life, experiences and thoughts such as 'What is love?' These poems come from the heart and maybe there is no answer. Only Fools fall in love! They understand the happy moments and then the sadness, the desires, the hopes and the despair. The Fool emerges as an image in my paintings, which reflect my thoughts and feelings, so there is a close connection to my poems. Many of the poems are illustrated using my drawings, paintings and photographic images.
