The project is a new kindergarten located on a high density residential site in Guangzhou, China. Based on the comparison of early education between China and other countries, the approach of this project is to bring the new ideas and methods of new early education model. The new kindergarten offers the "spaces" with different environments for kids, but not classrooms. The entire building would become a highly free "playground" with no restrictions. The possibility and flexibility of spaces, materials and environments are the key to achieve the goal, which is to break the traditional "prison-like" kindergartens.
