This series of portraits is challenging the traditional conventions of portraiture, the idea that the essence of an individual can be captured has been the source of much heavy debate.



By working in a cubist manner and re-modeling the human face, these portraits highlight the awkwardness of the pose and exaggerate the impossibility of true representation in a single objective portrait photograph.
