Photos in this book were taken in the northeast India states of Assam, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh in April 2009. Included are the tea estates of Assam, where 60% of India's tea is grown, the rural villages of Nagaland, where warriors were once known for their fierceness and the beheading of their enemies, and the high reaches of primarily Buddhist Arunachal Pradesh, which boasts a monastery second in size only to Tibet's Portola Palace.
