I was born surrounded by automobiles and grew up among Porsches, Lamborghinis and other hot wheels. I loved classic cars since I got my first driving license and I've studied them for most of my life. Actually I'm a M.D., ophthalmologist and surgeon but I've also written more than 30 books about automobiles, Jaguar, Ferrari, Bugatti etc. and I've been invited as a Judge or Chair of the Jury in many classic cars Concorsos, among them the best and most elegant of them all, Villa d'Este. I love Bristols and I own 2 examples of this rare Marque, a 1966 409 and a 1953 403 'Aerodyne' that inspired me to write this book, being an evidently better car than any other produced in UK in 1953. I'm married with Anna since 1996 and our marriage somehow survives even after several long trips with the Aerodyne....
