This is the Fifth Edition of Stratus: Journal of Arts and Writing. A key element of the University of Washington's Certificate Programs in Arts and Writing is an emphasis on the student’s success after the completion of the Outreach and Professional and Continuing Education programs, which strive to develop self-sufficient artists who can create and market artistic work for years and decades following graduation. In this fifth edition, these visual and written works are connected by the theme of time: past and future.
