As a youngster, Dev took frequent visits from Sacramento to Long Beach CA, the birthplace where he was fascinated and consumed with being at the controls of his grandmother’s video recorder. Filming and narrating as he filmed his family gatherings, Dev sparked a passion for capturing the essence of life and presenting it through the visual arts of video/photography. Throughout his journey, the passion of freezing time ambitiously grew, to learn how these mechanical eyes operated to bring his imagination to life. Over the years, Dev continues to learn digital as well as film mediums through the street photography scene with friends and professionals in Denton, DFW and California.
