After winning a preliminary title under the Miss America Organization, Kierra mentored five little girls (Veronica, Rebekah, Paige, Madalyn, and Mia) through the Florida sunshine princess program. During that time, she was inspired to write Royal Responsibilities. This book incorporates some of very lessons she taught her princesses. She hopes through her children’s book series she can shed light on the leadership and positive impact beauty queens contribute to their communities. Kierra books are centered around service, scholarship, success, and style; the four points of the Miss America crown.
