About the Book
It all started with a simple field trip down the street. Young photographer McKayla Harwell was an open book when she arrived at the Huong Dao Temple on East Rosedale Street in Fort Worth, Texas- not knowing what to expect since she had never been to a faith center that wasn't of Christian denomination before. Upon arrival , Ms. Harwell noted the temple looked as if it had been transplanted from a balmy Vietnamese jungle to the urban sphere of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and became captivated with the abstract yet serene nature of the temple. This photography book serves as a chronicle of her journey through the Huong Dao Temple.
