The photographs in this book were taken during my first visit to New York in September 2015. My wife and I spent a week in a fancy little flat in SoHo – an extraordinary place for newbies like us. The week went by incredibly fast and I know that within that short space of time I haven’t even scratched the surface of what New York has to show. Nevertheless, the images I have elected to show in this book represent my personal first impressions of this fantastic city and were taken all along the nearly 50 miles we walked from Downtown Manhattan to Haarlem and from the Meat Packing District to Coney Island.
