A picture book about a boy named Teddy who meets an otter with a special gift. The otter’s gift is the ability to grow plants from anything he touches. This is very significant because the story is set in a world where humans have ruined most of the soil on earth, therefore the sight of plants within the city is rare or non-existent. The complication is that the plants that the otter creates mysteriously begin to wither over time.
