Deciding to combine her love of children's literature and animation, Meghan wrote and animated Humphrey as her senior thesis. Born and raised in Everett, Washington, she grew up reading, catching frogs, and "playing imagine". When she was nine, Meghan decided to be an animator after her family visited the Walt Disney Animation Studios. In 2009, Meghan graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles with a Bachelor's Degree in Animation. Meghan loves to draw, play video games, and sing loudly. Her favorite food is Cap'n Crunch cereal. She hopes that Humphrey inspires readers to believe in themselves and to live the life they imagine.
