Anxiety is a mental illness that is often overlooked. The Anxiety Project came to me in hopes to raise awareness for others who are suffering. Inside this book, you will find short exerpts written by individuals who all share some form of anxiety. Accompanied by each written passage is a portrait that I, as an artist, wanted to make sure to create distinctly unique for each individual’s anxiety. All individuals agreed to share their stories with you in hopes that they could also help in the start of a movement; a movement where no matter the circumstance, you are not alone in your weakness. Whether you, the reader, relate to any or all of these stories, I would like to encourage your strength to be a reminder to others that it is possible to overcome and persevere. Diagnosed or undiagnosed, you are not alone.
