About the Creator
Howe Sim Photography
Acton, Ontario, Canada
Howe Sim is a prolific travel photographer whose work has taken him to every continent, all 193 UN member nations, and a total of 266/330 TCC countries & territories (Platinum Status). His subjects are as eclectic as his destinations: from Rwanda’s endangered mountain gorillas, to Greenland’s monolithic icebergs, to the bizarre rituals of Benin’s annual voodoo festival. He has endured temperatures from -50 C to +50 C, traversed active conflict zones, evaded a kidnapping attempt, and even been detained by the authorities on suspicion of covert activities. Despite these experiences, this travel addict remains dedicated to capturing the beauty of the world around us. The more otherworldly his subject matter, the greater his wanderlust.
