    “Visions of Birds” is a coffee table photography book of birds by a veteran newspaper photographer from Virginia. His work is a labor of love and a stress release from photographing national politics in Washington, D.C. The book encompasses birds in his backyard of his home in the Blue Ridge Mountains and the coastal area of Virginia where he grew up.

    As a Emmy-winning documentary photographer and filmmaker, this Virginia-based photographer is most known for his unique ability to go behind the scenes to discover and convey personal and emotional stories through images. Graham, has represented a wide variety of publications and is a highly decorated storyteller. In addition to his editorial work, he often collaborates with non-profits and foundations and holds an impressive portfolio of commercial photography with a myriad of major brands. Graham, now retired from political photography, has changed his focus from Capitol Hill to the rolling hills of the Blue Ridge. His work now is more local and homegrown and as he said more meaningful. Projects include helping to open a local newspaper Loudoun Now, covering Loudoun's fight against COVID 19, starting America's Routes in an attempt to save Loudoun's historic roads and work for the local tourism council. His most recent book is now out documenting his own back yard to create, "30 Days
