Rich Kolker has been in the Air Force, a radio newsman, a software engineer for NASA, started a space think tank and associated e-zine, ran Star Trek conventions, designed programs for Space Camp, a volunteer at the Smithsonian, a county Democratic chair and for five years, served as a U.S diplomat overseas in Africa and Canada. He lives in Ashburn, Virginia.
