About the Book
This book focuses on the beauty of the Aspen trees that are so common in the U.S. Rocky Mountains, the East Coast, and the midwest. The Aspen, with its pale green foliage that turns golden yellow in the Fall, is an icon of Colorado. This portfolio uses some standard landscapes, but concentrates on close-up and macro views. Included are many of this photographer's specialty graphics - back-lit macro shots of leaves that reveal all of the beauty and intricacy of this tiny structure. Aspens cleary show that Nature is a Work of Art.

About the Creator

Having "retired" from a long career in biotechnology and academia, I find that capturing images from a unique perspective and then sharing them with others is what I really enjoy. Living in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado provides plenty of opportunity to do just that.
