Cured? tells the story of a young dancer in San Francisco who is diagnosed with HIV, and a year later surprisingly discovers that he seems to have cleared the virus from his body. Photographer Dot (Tom Schmidt) tells this story with a mix of documentary images and metaphorical dance/studio images. Through this story we learn that this cure may not be the miracle that one might expect.
