About the Book
The graphic novel is based on Johnson and Boswells Tour to the HEBRIDES in 1773 USING THEIR WRITING AS OUR STARTING POINT
we photographed ourselves posed as Boswell and Johnson imagining their journey on foot on horseback or by boat and talking with the locals
We selected from and digitally drew over these photographs to create this graphic novel animating Boswell and Johnsons journey and connecting it to our own experience of place
The graphic novel is published as a printed magazine including the augmented reality technology layar which brings the graphic novel to life by animating the scenes and making it accessible on mobile devices
