About the Book
Wildflower photography is often an ungainly art. There you are, flat on your belly, head in the dirt, limbs splayed, as is your tripod. In my first years of early retirement, neighbors would see me in my naturally wooded back yard, getting down and dirty.
I don’t get down much anymore to take photos of wildflowers; I’ve reached the “I’ve fallen and can’t get up” stage of life. But I do get to choose and enjoy my favorite photos. Here are some, taken in my back yard in Michigan and in locations as far away as Alaska and Scotland.
