About the Book
As a photographer I search for the image, sometimes hidden and sometimes amid the crowd. Often those images appear blended among a backdrop of unwanted noise; scenery, people, things that distract from my subject, the final capture being a composite of unwanted reality. The subject that inspired me to focus my camera has become cluttered; leaving what had sparked my interest confused and undefined…was it the dog, the bird or the man? Yes, often images tell a story and require nothing more than focusing and clicking the shutter, but sometimes extracting the essential subject is a worthwhile endeavor, and can be a post-processing challenge.
