      About the Book

      Edit

Recent photoworks of Denis Farley with essay by James D. Campbell. This photographic series and associated video works are part of a larger work in progress that incorporates images of institutional mega-servers in parallel with images cloud formations and other related elements. The work addresses the concept of the unseen and similarly the invisible transit of information regardless of physical territory. Most of the content,or hardware, of data centers is also invisible to the general public because it is kept in highly secured climate-controlled rooms. Analogies can be made with Farley’s earlier work on greenhouses (2007-2010). Denis Farley's artworks are part of many public and private collections.
