My dad's job entailed building oil refineries which took us traveling across the United States and to exotic countries during my formidable years. We moved every two years on the average, giving us a fresh perspective of how others lived and an appreciation for our nation. I truly believe it when I say there is no place like the United States. Upon being diagnosed with stage IV cancer 6-years ago, I gain a new appreciation for life and have been intent on living it to the fullest. Having been blessed with two children (one son and one daughter), one daughter-in-law, and two beautiful grand children, it's important to me that they see that I've chosen to live with this disease, not die from it. It's also important that my walk with God is evident in the way that I live my life so honesty, integrity, faith, hope and above all love are factors that others see in me. Like most other authors and photographers coffee, chocolate and golden light rock my world.
