As a photographer, I am always trying to find the next location or subject to photograph. Many great photographers feel that it is their obligation to travel half way across the world, in order to get those couple perfect shots. Sometimes, it can pay off to do so, but most of the time, it's just unnecessary. Instead of getting on an airplane and leaving my continent for this photo series, I didn't even put on shorts. I took a look around and saw all of the intricate and abundant textures in my own apartment. Sometimes what you are looking for is right in front of you. Take a look around and see.
