For my final year thesis I’m exploring the subject of nipples and their place in society and social media. The written part has focused on censorship of nudity on social platforms, how it’s not equal between sexes, and the rules defining it. It’s about society’s reaction towards them and the actions combined with that. For the visual part I have conducted interviews with young people to get a more personal view from someone who’s using social media, asking what they think of their nipples, if they think about their nipples and in the end if this corresponds with the rules set for social media. The interviews are part of a video piece. The volumes reflect the subjects that occurs throughout the talks and the images are still images from the videos.
