About the Book
A viewing of the Futurism Manifesto. Futurism was an artistic movement that violently rejected traditional forms and all ties to the past. This idea and purpose was to celebrate and incorporate into art the energy and power of modern technology including cars, industrial and war machines, and air planes. Futurism took lead as an extremist movement lead by Filippo Marinetti. The movement began in the early 1900’s in Italy, and lasted until around the 1940’s.
