Fabricated is a group exhibition by Bachelor of Fine Arts graduates Maxie Adler, Sarah Grindle, Noelle Jenkins, Chelsea Lyles, Steven May, and Cara Zeidler. The show displays a harmonious combination of fiber and metal work, where each artist uniquely employs a series of handwork techniques and artistry.
The bodies of work displayed are cohesive to the artist’s conceptual ideas. These ideas are supported by each artist’s research throughout their undergraduate career relating to the environment, either physical or transcendent.

Though conceptually separate, the bodies of work are unified by the artists’ excessive (or obsessive) attention to detail and dedication to the handcrafted. The work shows each artist’s individual interpretation of the materials. The processes used are meticulous and time consuming, but yield to a meditative and passionate artistic practice.
