The faces shown in these portraits were residents of LaPorte, Indiana, in the 1950s and 1960s. Muralcraft Studios photographed them and many, many others. Combined and embellished with hand-embroidered quotes from famous individuals including Steve Jobs, Margaret Mead, Clint Eastwood and Ovid, the artworks are presented here in an iteration of the classic alphabet book.
