A Tale That Time Tells is a collection of poems written by Breanna Martel over a period of several years. The poems in the book are about Breanna's family and friends, grieving the lost of loved ones, the many years of abuse the author was subjected to my her step-father, depression, and mental illnesses. During the past two years from 2013 to 2015 when the book was published, Breanna had gotten very sick and had to spend many months in the hospital. During that time she had countless surgeries to correct the mistakes doctors had made. There are several poems about the devices her life now depends on and the staff at the hospitals.
