About the Book
This book is the result of the BEST single day of shooting, I've ever had. Everything worked, the locations, the tide, the sun, even the lack of people or at least people who were looking around.
By the end of the day, 5 hours later (including lunch and driving time), We had shot almost 400 pictures, at 6 locations. Later as I went through the shots, I thought this shoot would be an interesting book.
This Book is pretty much a slide show of the day, a couple of photos may be out of order, but for the most part the 150+ images are in the order they were taken in. Katy and I hope you enjoy it!

About the Creator
Dave Foss is a New York–based fine art photographer whose work is rooted in natural light, real locations, and the unpredictable moments that happen in between. For more than fifty years, he has photographed people in abandoned buildings, industrial spaces, beaches, streets, forests, and small forgotten corners of the Northeast — allowing the location, weather, light, and collaboration with the model to shape the image naturally. Working instinctively rather than through heavily staged productions, Foss creates photographs that balance atmosphere, intimacy, humor, vulnerability, and a strong sense of place, often blurring the line between documentary and fine art photography. His work is frequently presented in self-published books and magazines that combine images with the stories behind them.
