The Chrysler Building has everything to influence an artist and nationally-recognized artist Jessie Krause was quickly inspired by the view out of her apartment window.

The Chrysler Building is one of the leading examples of Art Deco Architecture. Completed in 1930, the building is adorned with replicas of 1929 Chrysler radiator caps on the corners of the 31st floor, ornamental eagles on the 61st floor corners, and a stainless-steel clad crown replicating a sunburst. Walter Chrysler's building was the world's tallest for less than a year, but it has lived on as a work of art.

Over more than six years, Jessie passionately drew and painted the Chrysler Building dozens of times. In different seasons, from Summer sun to Winter's snow. In the morning, afternoon, and evening.
