XIENG KHOUANG BATTLE FOR LAOS is a photographic reenactment of the Indochina War of 1946-1954. It focuses upon the French Foreign Legion's 2nd Parachute Battalion and their participation in Operation "Muguet" in May 1953. This saw the battalion fighting against the Communist Viet Minh in the Laotian province of Xieng Khouang, site of the famous "Plain of Jars".
