why, yes!
"wow! the only thing better would be if this were a book of poetry!!!" said no one ever.
don't hate poetry. poetry is wonderful! it hides in many aspects of your daily life. from the song we sing before blowing out the candles of a birthday cake, to the epic tales of greek heroes that are the bane of every 9th graders existence, poetry is everywhere.
they say that the ability to rhyme is a higher brain function. the ability to write in verse is a true sigh of great intellect. really. they say these things! they are never wrong.
i encourage you to explore the many forms, meters and rhymes in this book and in the world around you. i will be your back up as you retaliate against the things that go bump in the night.
