    About the Book

    Edit

The author lived and worked as a photographer in Nepal from 1980-1984. He returned in 2008 to go on an expedition to the remote Buddhist kingdom of Mustang, on the border with Tibet. What happened to Nepal during that quarter century between visits? Through dozens of stunning photographs and accompanying text, this book tells the story of the author’s journey to Mustang -- culminating in an audience with its last King -- and the changes that have overtaken the country.
